There is a legend of Melody in Nukti Vav on the border of Surendranagar Vadhwan.
A Rajput left for Vadwan on some business. Met a Patel on the way. One to two both leave. It was noon. Rajput had good rice.
Approaching Vadwan, they saw a banyan tree and a seedling and sat down there to eat. Rajput said to Patel, I have rice. But I can't eat. So you eat, because I don't take food and water without making Diwa of Mataji Meldi. Patel was hungry. The rice was eaten. There was no water in the side yard.
The seed was empty. Patel joked. He said to the Rajput, Bhagat, you have given food but not water. You must have Maa Meldi present. By making the water go into the seed. The Rajput was eaten. Manoman prayed to Ma, O Ma, spare me my shame.
Otherwise I will give a hard body. By Mani's grace, the sow was filled with sweet water. Patel went to the village and spoke. Seeing this miracle, the villagers also started chanting Meldi Mani Jai.
Vadwan Thakore knew this. It occurred to him that Naki Rajput knows nothing about magic. He called for 25 pots to test the Rajputs and placed a rose flower under one.
Then asked Bhagat, say, under which pot is the flower? Rajput remembered Ma and said, Thakor, there is a rose flower under every pitcher.
If you look, there is a fresh rose flower under each pot. Thakor immediately fell on his feet. Even today Mana Sthanaka helps devotees in Vav on the border of Vadwan.
